For the safety and well-being of clients and their family members, I have received all of my Covid-19 vaccinations (1st dose – February 2021, 2nd dose – May 2021 and Booster November 2021)
1. Provincial Guidelines for Home Care Workers will be strictly adhered to while visiting in a privately owned home.
2. In the event that the visit is occurring in a Retirement Residence or Long Term Care Home, the Policies and Procedures of that facility will be strictly adhered to.
3. For client safety, as your caregiver, I will be wearing a face mask at all times during your scheduled visit, whether we are indoors or outdoors.
4. In the event that my mask must be briefly removed i.e. for hydration, physical distancing of at least 2m will be maintained.
5. Public Health Handwashing measures will be followed.
6. Gloves will be worn when appropriate to do so.
7. Caregiver will utilize a daily self-screening tool to monitor for any new or worsening symptoms (visits will be rescheduled if necessary).
8. Touch surfaces in high traffic areas will be sanitized during visits.

4. Proof of vaccination if requested
1. Client (or their family member) must notify Blossom Home Care Services immediately if they, or anyone in their household, becomes ill or of any known probable or possible exposure to Covid-19.
2. Notify Blossom Home Care Services of their own vaccination status as well as members of the household.
1. Liquid hand soap and paper towels for caregiver handwashing (hand towels and bar soap must not be shared with household).
2. All cleaning and sanitizing products.
