   I am incredibly happy with Janet's care for my mother. She is kind, compassionate, and goes above and beyond to ensure my mother's comfort and well being.  Janet treats my mother with the same love and care I would, and I am so grateful for her dedication and professionalism.
Janet's  experience  and compassionate nature are truly exceptional.  She has given me many great suggestions on how to ensure my mother remains safe and happy despite her declining mental and physical health.

I would highly recommend Janet to anyone seeking exceptional care for a loved one.

I looked forward to my time with you each week, both for your excellent, professional care, and our accompanying conversation. Your professional care  took into account my bath needs wholistically: not only the actual bathing, but the battle with dry  skin also. By judicious use of Bath Oil , followed by liberal use of a moisturizing lotion, you won the battle. Also you put me on to a source of wonderful homemade soap, now a fragrant staple in my bathroom. Excellent care, for which I am grateful. I heartily recommend Blossom Home Care Service. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate my experience a 5.

 Janet Nicholls of Blossom Home Care Services is a sensitive and compassionate young woman. In her capacity as a Personal Care Assistant, she has been caring for my elderly mother since July of 2022. Janet treats my mother with respect and kindness and she is always prompt and reliable. She is also empathetic to me as a caregiver. I would recommend using Blossom Home Care Services to care for an elderly relative.

Janet from Blossom Home Care is truly a wonderful support.

Janet started working with my father who had dementia, mobility issues and health issues.  She initially started providing respite so that my father’s partner could have some time to herself.  She has a wonderful approach to her clients.  She was able to engage with my father in a very quiet, gentle way which was what he needed.  She helped to keep us aware of issues regarding his health and care.  She also was able to make suggestions which were helpful for my father’s quality of life.

When he was moved to a higher level of care in a long term care home, Janet continued to visit him as a companion.  My father enjoyed her visits and the conversations which Janet had with him.  He was able to open up and talk to her. 

She is very conscientious and always let us know in advance if she was unable to come for a visit.  When possible she arranged her schedule to accommodate my father’s partner as well. 

Janet is a caring, compassionate person.  She adjusts her approach as needed and definitely provides a valuable service to her clients.  She maintains good communication with the family as well.

I would definitely recommend her services to anyone.

  It’s never easy to put your trust in someone you don’t know.  It becomes exponentially more difficult when that trust is around people you love that find themselves in a vulnerable place in their lives.
Janet was initially hired to care for my stepfather and recently she’s become a caregiver for my mother.  In short, she has been a godsend to our family.  She gets to know the person she’s caring for and the family as well.  It’s obvious this is not just a job to Janet in the level of expert care, compassion and communication she provides.  Her attention to detail and sharp eye has helped us avoid disaster more than once.  I live several hours away but I can sleep at night knowing Janet is looking after Mom. This was not the case before.  As anyone in this position knows, especially when your family member is so vulnerable, all you want is for them to be safe, healthy and happy.  I would tell anyone, if you’re looking for someone that you can trust to care for someone you love, you need not look any further.

I've known Janet for over twenty years in her role in Healthcare but when I heard she was adding training in the Home Care Service field I was overjoyed. No more than the present has this service been needed and having someone like Janet with her wealth of experience at the helm is vital to receiving high quality compassionate care. Janet will provide yourself or family member with a well organized, safe, socially enjoyable visit. My 90 year old independent Mother needed some extra "hands" to allow her to remain safely in her living style and Janet provided exactly that...with a grateful smile.     We have contracted Janet’s services for our 66 year old intellectually disabled brother, now living in a retirement residence with our 93 year old mother. For our brother, being a shy fellow and lacking self confidence, we needed a caregiver able to introduce him to life and advantages in a retirement residence and promote his independence.

Janet has been fantastic in every perspective. As a kind, caring and highly skilled individual, our brother warmed up to her instantly and was eager to spend time with her. Together they have developed familiarity with the many resources of the residence and ventured out to shop, attend appointments and walk in the neighbourhood. These are all activities we hope he will eventually continue to perform on his own. 

Beyond the scope of her contract with us, Janet has also shown an interest in the wellbeing of our mother, offering suggestions to maintain her optimal daily functioning.

Without a doubt, Janet has been a godsend for our family. With her extensive knowledge and wide skill set, she would be a valuable addition to any situation requiring homecare services.

  Blossom Home Care Services was the most positive addition to recovery, following my surgery. Janet meticulously helped with all the things I could not do, like vacuuming, cleaning, running errands, lifting, and personal care. She even did small home repairs saving me money! She reorganized cupboards and closets making day-to-day tasks more accessible. She took every precaution to protect my vulnerable family during the pandemic. As a fiercely independent caregiver myself, I was first apprehensive to have help, only to be relieved to find someone with her trustworthiness, aptitude, flexibility, calm nature, and efficiency.   Janet provided excellent support and companionship for my elderly Mom in Mom's home. I highly recommend her services.

Mom needed assistance on weekends, and I needed some respite. From start to finish Janet was professional, efficient, kind, cheerful and considerate of our schedule as needed.  

Janet provided several care necessities for Mom such as meal preparation and serving, kitchen clean up, compression stockings and more.  And based on chats with Mom, she suggested other things Mom enjoyed incuding baking, helping Mom sort her closets and pack storage bins.  Mom looked forward all week to Janet coming, she brightened Mom's weekends.

  Having heard of Janet from a friend who loved her services, I hired Janet for my Mom. This was a great decision! I live in another province and Janet keeps me informed; this is not my past experience and I deeply appreciate her communication. Janet cooks Mom a beautiful home cooked meal every week that Mom looks forward to. When I call Janet, she does "out of the box" services without hesitation- going once a day to ensure Mom administers her eyedrops, checking in on Mom last minute, letting me know what would make Mom's life more comfortable, treats Mom as family.
